About Us

Dockerills Brighton is a family business situated in the North Laine area of Brighton. Although the site of the Brighton shop has changed over the years, it has been part of the town's business community for as long as most Brightonian’s can recall.
The high street shop presence has now closed however the Dockerills family remain trading from the Regent House site in a first-floor office with adjacent showroom, also holding stock in the vast cellars beneath which are accessible from the new location.

With a focus on Architectural Ironmongery, Locks & Key Cutting, Sign making and general ironmongery products the staff members Karen, Ryan & Neville bring a wealth of experience to ensure all your projects are considered with trusted advice.

The business was established over 100 years ago by Mr Walter Dockerill, carried on by his son Mr Walter Harry Dockerill and is now owned by his son Mr Malcolm Dockerill who with his wife Brenda, daughters Karen and Jo and son-in-law Ryan continue the family tradition… check out our ‘History’ section for more information.
